Wireless devices have become extremely popular, but they have also become the subject of much debate as well. Consumers are worried about whether the networks are harmful to their health.

There have been reports about smart phones and the long term health risks that could possibly be associated with use over time. The wireless networks have proved to be no threat, however, because they only operate at 2.4GHz. This is a frequency that falls within the safety standards that are issued by the Federal Communications Commission.

It is also safe to say that wireless networks are not harmful because they have a power output of less than 100 milliwatts. These factors have been measured with precision, and this is why there have been no stipulations put on wireless routers.

The wireless networks that are in place are fueling much of the communication that is done today. Social media circles, web conferencing, and general web surfing all fall under the umbrella of wireless networks. There are lots of LAN lines, but wireless networks are much more convenient for many that are on the go. Wireless networks do not give off any type of harmful radiation. These networks are convenient and safe.
